As a Bible-believing Southern Baptist church affiliated with the Cabarrus Baptist Association, this is our vision.  At Blackwelder Park Baptist Church, these three statements are what we seek to exemplify in everything we do.  1 HOPE -- In I Peter 3:15, the Bible tells us that we should "... sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear."  1 HEART -- Acts 2:46-47 shows the mindset of the early church.  The church "continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart."  They were one heart and as they grew, and God added to the church daily.  1 MISSION -- Matthew 28:19-20 gives us the Great Commission that Christ left for us: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..."  We are to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them to obey His commands.
